Not sure if this is the right section but I am desperate for some help. We have people coming tomorrow and I would like to watch the football in the living room and not have to invite the quests to the small bedroom.

We just bough a pvr today but we are having the following issue. I can only one of the dstv channels to work on tv one,no channel on tv 2. I also can only get the one dstv channel to work when I use the av option on the tv. When I scan for channel I can't get the channel under the normal tv channel section of the tv.

On the pvr if I have the video out and audio out connected for tv 2 then the tv 2 channels appear on tv set 1 on the av channel if I connect the video out and audio out for tv 1 on the pvr then only the one dstv channel is shown on the av channel of tv one.

I don't have the rf in connected. I was told by the guys at the multichoice agent I don't need it for the pvr to work.

Please help me

I had none of these issues with the dualview.

Have you called up multichoice and activated the PVR?

It's activated it works on tv 1 but I can't get it to work on tv 2 and I can only get 1 of the 2 dstv signals to work on tv 1.

It worked fine when I still had the dual view.

Is it set up up right?

Select "menu" on the remote.
go to "6:advanced setup"
code is 9949
enable TV link setup and setup the TV's correctly.
If you still have problems, phone Multichoice

How is your 2nd tv connected? via AV or coax?

We use remote blaster not tv link. I think it's coax. Not sure.

I phoned multichoice but they can only send a techie on monday.

connect your tv to the tv2 connection on the pvr you should be able to see all the channels
call the sat install guys again they are suppose to 'fully' install the pvr
that is, test tv1 and tv2 and test the tv link with the second rc
