HI,

I have a directory c:\music with a 19 subdirectories of artists. In each subdirectories I have various MP3s and also a Jpeg picture of the CD.

If I right click on the directory and select properties, I see 'contains 181 files, 19 directories'. If I go to 'search c:\music for all folders, I can see 19 folders, 10 jpegs, 119 MP3s (total 148 files/folders).

Why the difference? Where is it getting 181 files from? :/

But there are no zips in c:\music ... only mp3s and jpgs.

..that you can see.

I am sure there are some hidden files there, like folder.ini, desktop.ini etc
untick "hide protected operating system files" and you should see them all.
the album art also falls under this category (the ones media player stuck in)
