Didn't see any threads, so sorry if this is a duplicate, but Guild Wars has officially sold over 4 million copies! That makes it the MMO with the second-most copies sold according to Wikipedia :cool:

It is not even an mmo imo, merely an online RPG. As it stands too about 2 million of those would have to be bot accounts. Bots in the game are unreal and Anet don't seem to care about any of it. Just take a wander to Granite Citadel or lately Altrum(sp?) Ruins, they are infested.
If you ask me this is because ig gold still sells on the internet well. While it sells, script farmers will make money from it. They won't stop because it is profitable. All Anet needs to do is once a month ban 5000 accounts. As it is still profitable farmers will replace these accounts as the gold still sells and they can make their money back quickly on the accounts. They will never ban all of them at once and on a continual basis or even add random spawning nightmares around the melee groups. As soon as this happens script farming will stop being profitable, once that happens and the accounts are banned they will stop buying new accounts to farm with and GW with "no monthly fees" will stop getting a stable monthly income.
This is why Guild Wars has been on a decline for the recent months, Anet just don't seem to care anymore and just want to make their income from the bot accounts.

It is Google, does such a good job that you mention hack, exploit or anything like that and they pick it up. You mention cd-key and you see about 100 bloody 1 post wonders asking for a cd-key.

Got the expansion, it will stay unopened. I learned to hate that game

I am loving the expansion. It is really short but there is allot of re playability.
