Dual Core 3.0 Ghz or Quad Core 2.66 Ghz

What are you going to use it for?
The general consensus seems to be if you're only going to game, then the faster clocked dual core is better. If you're going to be "general purposing" on the machine (including some gaming, multimedia work, development, etc) then the quad core will serve you better.

Not Gaming.

Mostly Corel Draw, Excel, some word, email etc

Heavy multi-tasking amongst above programs. HEAVY, Heavy Corel Draw work. Large images.

Therefore going for 2Gig memory.

Thx for this one prinsk. :)
What i would like to know is which one is the best for video editing.

If you using Vista, try get more RAM perhaps ?

quadcore man

u can easily clock that quadcore to 3.0 ghz and more

quadcore is future proof

go for 3 gig of ram is your vista or xp 32
