If my MTN contract is about to expire, why can i not convert to pay as you go and keep my number?

lol.... port somewhere else, then port back as a prepaid customer in 60 days :p

would if i could, but you cant do that iether, you can only port to MTN if you go onto contract!

this just doesn't make any sense to me!

LOL ya, I had the same thing a few months back. MTN are liars thats why. Its not a number for life. I lost my number like 2 weeks before number portability. So MTN lost my business.

Because they want to trap you into signing on for another 24 months

Number for Life is a bit of a joke really. It should read, "number for life if you continue paying regularly for life"
