Which CPU to buy. E6850 or Quad Q6600

Seeing they are about same price. Which one is better buy?
 
I've started the same thread a couple of days ago. If you are going to over clock then go for the Q6600 if not then E6850.
 
It's still super fast yes, you can't go wrong with either one.

i thought its the other way around :confused:

(overclokcing - e6850 , else get the q6600)
 
No they've released that new Go version of the Q6600 which over clocks really well. You can over clock the Q6600 to 3.4ghz without any problem on a good after market cooler. You can over clock the E6850 easily to that same speed as well but when over clocked the Q6600 performs better than the E6850 at the same speeds. Probably because of the cache and core advantage.
 
so your saying u dont notice a speed differnece but your benchmarks are good?

that aint a reason to buy it lawl
