hi room im new here today,im just starting to build a gaming rig my problem is nothing is displaying on my monitor. the setup i have is;
Asus A8N32-SLI DELUXE
2 sticks of OCZ memory (1GB) (PC3200)
2 geforce 6800 GTs
HIPER 580 watt PSU
Maxtor 40 GB

Ive connected SLI connector on both cards, do i need a VGA cable to connect???
ive checked ALL jumpers,Ive connected the EZ power and power to cards aswell. IM STUCK PLEASE HELP, thanks.:(

Take away 1 graphics card and test that it boots up with just one card to try narrow down the source. If its not the card ... there are various other possibilities ... check the CPU is in its socket correctly. If it is a graphics card ... check what else you need to do to get the SLI working.

if i remember correctly, that motherboard has a jumper/switch that needs to be set to SLI

blue screen

ive got the board to work,confused now im getting a blue screen now,it saying something to do with bois update,if it says that have i got to update the bios?:confused:

I would set the mobo to default settings and work my way up from there... Make sure the SLI connector is fitted correctly. Try switching the cards around if they are from different manufacturers and go through the bios settings for SLI and make sure they are right if need be.

The computer should still boot normally even if the SLI config is off a little. You should only get errors once you activate with nvidia CP.
