I heard there is a new phone to hit the SA market and it apparently takes two SIMs at the same time, i could use a garget like that...anyone know anything about it?

This device allows you to have two sim cards in your
sim card slot. It means that you have to use a stencil
and cut up your sim card to the correct size and put it
into the special dual sim card holder.
From your phone menu you can swop between Lines 1 or 2
Cost me a couple of sim cards if not cut correctly
Buy the right card holder for your particular model phone

3 SIM Cards in One Phone with Huatian K998

3 SIM Cards in One Phone with Huatian K998
One SIM is definitely not enough for some phone users. Even two SIM card slots might be insufficient for others. In such cases, an exceptional solution comes from the Huatian K998 mobile phone, which manages to pack an impressive
number of 3 SIM cards.

China seems to be the place where a large number of intriguing phone concepts are being released. Huatian K998 is one of them and manages to lead the multi-SIM phones trend with style and high performances.

3 SIM cards in one single device is a concept almost difficult to believe. Still, it turns out to be true, as official specifications reveal. That is great news for people living in countries with three network bands and for those who travel a great deal of time too. Changing SIM cards in order to adapt to frequencies in new countries may prove to be difficult, which makes such a phone concept excellent.

Huatian K998 comes with several other appealing features, aside from the 3 SIM card slots. This mobile phone has a 3 inch touch screen display which will manage to compete with almost any other smartphone of these performances. Exact measures of this mobile phone have not been revealed, although it should come in pretty big sizes, when considering the large display screen.

There is also a downside for this phone, as only one SIM can be active at a time. The two others are just kept in a safe place, waiting to be activated by the owner. That too might turn out to be useful, as losing one of the SIMs is left out of the question and the battery does not have to be removed every time the cards are interchanged.

Huatian K998 is available only in China at this moment for the estimated price of USD 200.

Chinese phone with 3 SIM card slots

While we're still for the major handset makers to announce a device that can support 2 SIM cards, Chinese manufacturers are already doing so. But wait, they've just went one step further — there's a device that can take up to 3 (yes that's "three") SIM cards.

The K998 model also boasts a large touchscreen, 1.3 MP camera, and a microSD expansion slot. And the price? $180! Why, oh why, don't you listen to us? I know you want to sell more handsets - but make a single one that would sport everything (high-res camera, WiFi, HSDPA, GPS, etc) just for test. And, while we're there - I wanna test it. :)

The dual sim phones from bidorbuy are terrible quality. I bought one a few months ago because I could do with having a true dual sim phone. Whilst the dual sim functionality works great, the phone itself breaks up during conversation and callers were constantly complaining that they could not make out what I was saying. This was not isolated to a single area and the signal strength was perfect so it was definitely the phone.

Dual and triple sim card phones are here for about 2 years now.Note that not all dual phones' cards is live at the same time. The phones have dual slots and the dual adapter is a thing of the past. The cect phones are good quality.I sold a lot of them in Kenya.

Beware if you wanna shop for these, not all of them even comes with the standard thingies like bluetooth and gprs.
