Telkom WiMax 512kbps upload speeds ?

I just wanted to get a poll on what people were getting on the uplink as i was of the opinion that wimax was synchronous so uplink = downlink but perhaps it is being ¨shaped¨ ? I only seemed to get 256kbps up?
 
The other posts around here also looked like 256kb upload. They wouldn't bother with synchronous connections, it would make it too much better than ADSL.
 
Telkom is currently offering it as a "DSL Type" service, thus shaping it exactly like a 512kbps dsl service.(512kbps DL and 256kbps UL)
