I'm not too bothered with the leaching side of rAge. I managed to get that Chuck Norris game and a couple of funny short vids and stuff last year.

Honestly I can't be bothered with movies and music. But if the opportunity arises to get some TV series, especially some Dexter and Battlestar Galactica, I won't say no.
 
They all go to leech the most up-to-date AV definitions. :)

Portable HDDs seem to be the leeching way forward, esp on campus.

Ironically they had an anti piracy stand inside at the expo last year :rolleyes:
 
And the year before that.
Its kinda like the Telkom booth where they try and tell you what they are doing to help you and everbody just ignores them and keeps on walking
 
There is a new virus out its called rAge, the symptoms is as follows you have a uncontrollable urge to be in front of a monitor for 3 days nonstop, also want to spend money with out thinking twice.....

as for the leeching technicaly, it is not illegal to give away movies and games nor it is called "piracy" it is oly illegal when money changes hands for the stuff, so you are all safe IMO, PLUS think about it they have been doing this kinda stuff at University's & CTi for AGES! lol if they only wake up now too bad... :)

so anyone wanna give me some Battlestar Galactica, Naruto, Gunsliger Girl, triping the Rift? huh? pls no one? :)

The fact that you have a digital copy of a movie on your drive is technically in itself a crime as it was never eleased as such. Copying, even for fair use, is still considered "illegal" in South Africa. I'm not agreeing with it, it's just the law.

Didn't they change the copyright laws to make it illegal to make a "backup" of the original disc which you bought in case the original is lost/damaged? I think I read something along those lines somewhere :confused:
