Hoping they'll at least manage to get it out sometime in October but AFAIK they're still seeding updates to the beta.

I have no idea - I'm not willing to spend that much money to be an Apple Developer. I'm actually happy with 10.4.10 and will probably only roll out 10.5 on my secondary machines initially.

Are you using Microsoft's VPC software?

Parallels or VM Ware are going to rock your world if you ever switch to an intel model. :)

I'm also looking forward to the additional functionality and all the new iCandy in 10.5 :o

VMWare Fusion and Parallels only run on intels. But, IIRC vmware does have another product for the PPCs

IIIRC the speed difference is because Virtual PC is an emulator while ||'s and VMWare are virtual machines.

I also have Airtunes for my set of AirPort Expresses - the Mini is great because its a proper second computer for the living room - the missus also boots into bootcamp to play her games (CSI Hard Evidence atm)
