Investigation only ‘tip of the iceberg’.

The tax expert whose dispute with FirstRand sparked a revenue service investigation into some of the bank’s wealthiest clients has fired a fresh salvo.

Barry Spitz, hired by FirstRand as a consultant in the 1990s, yesterday described the investigation by the revenue service into an alleged FirstRand tax-avoidance scheme as “at best, the tip of the iceberg”.

I thought this expose was going to name and shame some high flying tax-dodgers. Anybody got the low-down on the names yet?
