This proposed investment is bizarre - I wouldn't invest a brass farthing in Zim. There must be some hidden deal.

I think you all misread the article. Qatar is going to invest 136m Zim Dollars - thats about $10.00 US.....:D
 
It is probably a way for Bob to get his hands on some foreign currency.

I don't think it is such a bad idea investing in Zim... I mean, how low can their economy go?

And keep in mind that their economy will recover as soon as the west stops ambushing the Zimbabwean government </sarcasm> :D
 
I wonder what the motive is? Perhaps creating a tiny self supporting resort city ala Sun City?

Ever heard of the Vic falls. Zim has a lot of natural beuty. And thats about all it has going for it.
