The president of our country has been caught out in a downright lie, in a Nixonesque cover-up.

It is bad enough that President Thabo Mbeki and his office have lied to the nation for the past two weeks — what makes matters worse is their attempt to cover up their lies.
,
The government’s scramble to get the warrants cancelled — for no reason other than that Mbeki wanted it so —while, at the same, the president was denying any knowledge of their existence, is nothing but a cover-up.
,
Mbeki’s cynical, corrupt government has left all of us with a deep distrust of politics.
Mbeki needs to be replaced by a new leader, a new ethos and a new honesty.

Had enough of this deep thinking president of denial.

Why do people see Sexwale as the saviour of our country??
He hasn't really done anything to deserve the reverance many people seem to view him with

I don't think there are any credible leaders left in the ANC.
They really all appear to be self serving and riddled with greed in the quest for personal fortunes.

Lol @ the author's name.

Good article, he's like SA's answer to that Rush Limbuagh(sp?) guy.

Well the ANC has now shown itself to be a thoroughly corrupt and nepotistisc organisation, top to bottom.

The tragedy is that even though they dont have a credible or competent candidate left, one of them will still become (or remain..) President thanks to a brainwashed pool of voters.

Sheesh. Not unexpected and certainly not going to shake the earth if hard proof comes out. I doubt he will even leave office if it turns out to be true. All that will happen is that instead of trying to cover it all, it will be open and we will become what many people expected us to be a long time ago already...

He should have just let justice run its course (we all know he'd just pardon the guy in the end anyway).

What's amazing is that Mbeki continually gets away with all this and nobody seems to do anything about it.

Because he's better than Zuma, not that it takes much.

Who would you like to see running?

Off the top of my head, Trevor Manuel would be about the only one. Other than that no-one else in the ANC has shown any sort of qualities/abilities to do a decent job of running the country.

And in any case, us mere citizens have no say in who it's going to be
