Hi,
I recently got a new phone and am looking for a 2.5mm to 3.5mm audio jack converter so I can use normal headphones. Where's the easiest place to find such a thing?

Try Yebo Electronics, next to Brights in the Northern Suburbs.
Otherwise Communica in town.

Also, how much do they go for? I'm assuming they are cheap for those non-branded ones...

For less than R50.00 hamrads can make a short cable. 2.5 mm male with a 3.5 mm female and you good to go. While you there you can ask them to make you a 2.5 mm to rca cable and plig your phone into your car stereo etc

 Must have been a clear day, 'cos they saw you coming from a long way off.
I'd expect to pay R10-R15.
Any electronics store will sell these, they're pretty standard.

hi. sorry for digging up a old thread. but i'm looking for one of these cables. does anyone know where to get one of these in the north jhb? i either need the whole cable or just a 2.5mm male jack so i can make my own. if its 2.5mm male to 3.5mm male or 3.5mm female it doesn't matter. all i really need is the 2.5mm male. thanks
EDIT: nvm. i found one
