Did anyone hear the man in the SABC studio at half time? While they were talking about the first half, you could hear a man bursting into the studio and shouting “I have a public announcement, I have a public announcement” and then a lady also in the background “Get out!!” :D Was quite funny but they didn’t say anything about it.
Does anyone know what happened there?

Actaully the broadcast had lots of 'unprofessional' things happen.
Towards the end of commentry that africaans dude dissappeared and some african speaking dude took over. Also after the match they decided to show other crap like people dancing at pubs and stuff. After the match when the players were on the field, the had 2 shots on the screen at the same time , 1 of the SA concert thing or something and the other of the players - this lasted a few minutes. Friggin irratating.
SABC really a bunch of cowboys.

Yeah I saw that and did you see the mayor of Pretoria? They asked her about the rugby and she said something about Bafana bafana and the 2010 soccer world cup. Now I ask myself what that has to do with the Bokke winning the world cup??

I also heard the backround shouting. I wonder if they were partying behind the scenes and someone got a little drunk? Probably the studio equivalent of a streaker on the field. :)

Also that daft presenter who was at the Tshwane "party" who started to call the team the Bafana Bafana.... i pretty much turned it off then. If you can't hire people who know the teams name, them I'm not interested... plus who cares what the mayor of Tshwane says, she's just trying to ride the Boks coat tails and make some arbitrary useless statement.

Come on people, this is the National Broadcaster, to whom you are obligated to pay license fees, to whom you Are referring. Do they not deserve more respect?

Nope.... :D
They should be lambasted for doing such a poor job last night.... so that Dali Mpofu can launch into another one of his amusing tirades...
I don't watch soap operas.. i just read the news instead :p

Yep heard it too. Well what happened on my screen anyway was:
There was an almost try , and suddenly the entire screen froze and commentary disappeared...i think someone spilled their beer over the controls in the studio
Then the commentary came back at least, but it sounded like international commentary [with actual facts and content] , wasn't our rather annoying afrikaans commentary which just talked alot of crap on how good the boks are...i mean some balance would be nice...
And then finally that shouting and "drunken" take over or whatever it was in the studio during half time.
...this prompted me to switch on the radio [and turn off sound on the tv] and listen to proper commentary. Sad part was, the radio was actually like 10 seconds ahead of the SABC visuals! [So i heard "and Percy kicks the ball out " before Percy even had the ball on the screen lol].

The part where they show all the goings on from the various party venues was pathetic. It was an ANC mouthpiece, "we like to thank Amos Masondo, Walter Sisulu, the mayor of Tshwane etc". WTF! Thank Jake, Eddie, Rassie, Johan and the boys - they did the work.
I really loved how some lady told SAFA that they must make sure Bafana win the world cup in 2010. That is Africa for you - people think all you have to do is ask for something and it then it will happen - no concept of implementation.

ROFLOL!!!.
SAFA will probably give some shares in Telkom to FIFA to get a spot in Finals ;)
