Not sure if this is the correct forum to post in, but I'll give it a bash ;)

We are busy finalising the new version of our site (www.wantitall.co.za). The entire site is custom written - we are not using any free carts, CMS systems or anything you can 'buy off the shelf'.

Some of the nicer features you will easily see:

SSL secure user screens
Similar item recommendations
Accessory recommendations
Larger images (higher quality)
Better user interface.
The list goes on....

In the meantime we are trying to test the site, including users signing up on the site, and just generally following through the order process.

I know most the guy/girls on myadsl are quite familiar with online stores, and your input would be extremely valuable.

If you could please have a look at the new site: test.wantitall.co.za and give some feedback or any errors experienced?

Please ignore all certificate errors. The cert is for wantitall and not test.wantiall.

Also some pages do not render correctly in IE 6. Although that might be by design...

Also, add a logout function somewhere, though it's not used a lot some people still prefer it.

The rest looks very cool though, i like the design!
 
Site looks cool and I'm glad that the site is working nicely in Firefox :) Busy running through all the options and will provide some feedback. Site seems very responsive so far.
 
Just noticed that "Request Item" is not linking anywhere?!? Is this meant to work?
 
Looks good Ap0c, I'll give them all a Menthol injection if they do anything ;) :D :p
 
The drop down boxes fonts are HUGE, looks like it's meant for the visually impaired, maybe make it a smaller font.

Will reduce the web 2.0'ness ;) Some font reduction time...
 
I like the colours better on the normal site than the test site. Which are you going to use? ;)
 
I'm busy with a site that has a similar layout to your front page. I like the idea of the grid of five cols with the outer two being slightly wider than the central 3 cols. But things aren't lining up nicely at the moment, IMO. I would align that shopping cart box with the recently sold box beneath it, and then increase the gutters between the boxes in the central columns. Use it/ don't use it.

Also, on the product pages, there is a lot of orange in the comments, perhaps to stick with the orange header and a blackish font for the comment body?

And I agree with the comments about the drop box.

But I really do like the overall look of the site, especially the menu in the header, nice and big and bold. :)
