Random questions for those who know off-hand

1) Did the cellular companies make representation at either of the two ADSL Regulation hearings in 2005?
2) Do Telkom SA (pty) ltd, SAIX, and TelkomInternet all carry the same company registration number? ic?

To me it suggests that TelkomInternet falls under Telkom SA (LTD)

If you go to www.telkominternet.co.za, it redirects to www.telkomsa.net. This page have a copyright towards Telkom SA at the bottom, so same company.

Telkom SA and SAIX do, well that's what I've read a few times on this forum.

"“Telkom’s SAIX accounts are on the Telkom data bills. All of them have “Telkom SA Ltd, Reg no 1991/0055476/06, VAT no 4680101146” on the bottom of the page,” reported Ferreira."

The CIPRO website provide information on company registration numbers. A quick search shows that the only numbers for Telkom are for TelkomSA (# 1991/005476/06), Telkom Media (# 2006/003303/07) and Telkom International (# 1998/007876/07). I could not find anythign for SAIX or TelkomInternet, so I would assume they are part of Telkom SA and not seperate legal entities/subsidiaries. Though CIPRO is also plagued by incompetency, these are confirmed by Telkom's website. Must admit though, dont know how much faith to put into either one.

Would be interesting to know if Telkom actually trademarked these names? There were no search option for this, so I guess one has to submit applications to CIPRO for this. Lucky bugger if they did not, coz then one can sue them for illegal use of trademark
