Bought a Razer Copperhead from one of the stand at Rage this year, and from last week it started giving me problems. The double click issue which many 'proud' owner of copperhead had encontered and widely discussed on the internet. I could never imagine that a gaming mouse costs around 500 Rand will produce this problem so soon, which you is common in cheap mouses or old mouse which had been abused for many years.....
I am really disappointed with so called 'mouse with a killer instinct'. Anyone else here with a bad experience with Razer product? I emailed the retailer who sold me the mouse and see if I can swap this with a brand new one.

Why'd you get the copperhead when the Deathadder (which is better) is available?

I've got a viper ... had it for 2 years ... no problems at all ... only thing is the wheel is becoming a bit sticky ... but thats probably my own fault

Got email reply from the retailer
I send the problem trough to my suppliers. They will get back to me soon.
But it should not be a problem, I will swap it out for you for a new one.

Good to know that. Any suggestions? Should I just try my luck on the new copperhead, or downgrade to a diamondback, or upgrade to deathadder? I tried diamondback in Rage at the Q3 ET stand, feels good. My friend in Ukrain has a DeathAdder, but I doubt that I will have lots of time for time for gaming next year (If I can find a job).

I have a copperhead and no problems at all. Very nice mouse. You may just of had a dud or something.?

Could be, but it's not an isolated incident. When I searched for this double click problem with copperhead, I got quite a lot of posts overseas with lots of user's complain....
