Well... I seem to have a another problem...
First my on board sound dies...
And now I can watch video's... this is really getting me down.
Well what is happening is, the video's would randomly stop... then i would have to move the status bar forward, then it would play and then stop agian...

plz help

If it's streamed videos from the Internet, then I'd blame telkom.

If it's videos from your HDD then there's something funny going on here. Check for errant processes such as viruses/trojans or unresponding applications.

try winamp

are you sure you have divx installed? the most up-to-date one

also ac filter but thats for sound :)

Actually it sounds like you may have too many codecs or codec packs installed. Take them all out, only keep divx and ac3. Also install gspot, so if you have difficulty playing specific files in future, it should tell you what codecs you need to install. That way you only install what you need.

VLC sucks as a full screen player - it doesn't give you much control in full screen. Volume, progress bar etc. all have to be adjusted in windowed mode. I don't like constant switching back and forth.

Divx player had that since the beginning, VLC only recently. Anyway let's not turn this into a thread about which is the best player, and rather help dear scotty with his problem ;)

I refuse to! You can't force me! ;) :D :p

Dude, chill man, I'm just pulling your leg, I rarely use VLC anyways, unless I've got to play some rogue flv file :p

eish I'm too lazy to create a new thread so I'll just ask here.

Is a:

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ s939
Geforce 6800GT
1GB DDR400

PC good enough to play 720p files without jerking?
