Where can I download windows 98 drivers?

I have a Pentium 2 backup computer and wish to install the software for the MTN e620 Huawei datacard, I'm running Windows 98. As far as I can gather, they are available?
 
hi i dont know much about computers and the such but i had a problem with my motherboard and asked my local computer shop to cut me a copy of my video drivers, i am sure they can help some how.
 
Thanks, but which one has the Windows 98 stuff?

I downloaded the first one (its the smallest) and it doesn't have Windows 98 drivers. Which one has, do you know?:confused:
 
Have you checked on the manufacturer's website?

To be honest, very few companies still actively develop drivers and software for Win98 these days.

otherwise, use the usual torrent suspects, and go looking for an iso of the full OS..

(a lot of people have iso's and copies of all the early windows.. very useful if you're a retro gamer to have a dedicated 3.1 or 95 machine, for playing older games on.
 
Ok, thanks for all the suggestions, I can upgrade to windows 2000 but I then haveto locate all the drivers (graphics, Bios, sound) for the new OS. Headache! And it will cost me R250 for the full version as well. I suppose 3G didn't exist when Windows 98 was in use.

Dude, the internet barely existed :D
 
Postwriter I reccomend you install PCLinuxOS its as good as any windows OS. And it doesn't hog resources as much. I couldn't even watch a film on my 750MHZ Celeron till I installed this - Now I can watch films and frikin type at the same time. Its amazing. Oh and all hardware are supported.

Linux Boffins should know more about this, I just thought I'd tell you about this distro. Can send you a copy if you like!
