Worked fine for about 1 year.
no problems.

Recently its freezing every few minutes. I reinstalled the software, and also deleted the software, then installed only the drivers and connect via the normal internet connection settings ... Still it freez for no reason.

is thr something that I can clean all traces of the drivers and dll 's and then do a clean install?

Otherwise where can I get the firmware upgrade? link Pls, there is 100's of posts ..

I wouldn't advise you do a firmware upgrade on a laptop that "freezes", if it happens in the middle of the flash process you might not be able to get your card working again.

Rather try the data card in another computer and see if you can determine whether the problem lies with the card or your laptop.

I already did it, and it gave me a error when I did the firmware upgrade .. Luckily the card is working now, havent freez yet

Whats your serial number on the 3G card????
If it was made before the 1st of October 2006 then you will have problems with it.

I send u the S/n can u pls check 4 me, I cant decipher those codes :(

I do think its just a new driver conflict, cause it was working fine b4.

using Dell latitude 620

I still have a gaurantee on the card , MTN contract ,would u suggest that I have the card replaced?

I tried MTN for a swap out, but they checked the card on a other laptop .. and yes it does work.
What option do I have, seeing as its not really the card that is faulty neither the laptop.

can any1 help pls. Its frustrating to restart everytime, and using my phone as modem is not helping if I need to be connected the whole day.

Format your laptop and reinstall using your recovery cd!

Prob your best bet! :-)
