ICASA says it ‘never flinched’

Just more blabber and a waste of time reading the article. It actually says nothing more than what we do know.

Whatever you say Paris. If ICASA never flinched then its actual mandate is different from the one it publically espouses, which wouldn't surprise me.

Never flinched, never moved a muscle at all you mean Mr Mashile!

We all know that ICASA is BAD, INCOMPETANT and CORRUPT. I have a plan.

Someone, should take the current ADSL regulations and change it to read like it is supposed to. This should take about 5 minutes as apposed to the 5 years that ICASA would take.

Someone should then leak it to the press. It can come from "trusted" source within ICASA.

We then wait to see what ICASA will do. By the time they wakeup (about 4 months later), there would be many articles applauding ICASA's lates effort.

Mr. IDIOT would then have to go on the record as stating that it was a hoax. This would be followed by an outcry from the press. Everyone would want to know, why cant we just use these lates set of regulations, since it is pertfect. Put the man in a bad light (not that he cares... would you, while you are sipping cocktails in your swimming pool in working hours). Mission accomplished.

Self-serving idiots whose arses should have and still need to urgently be napalmed:
  1. Poison Ivy
  2. Stalin-Mafole
  3. Paris Mashile
  4. Ivy's other weedlings within !CASA and its council
Will it happen? - not while Mbeki is in power and they are all doing his bidding.

IMO [searchforum]Mandamus[/searchforum] orders would be the next step to take against all of the above [Mbeki included], if nothing else, a Mandamus would further publicise their guavamental incompetence and self-enrichment.

Just 2 quick questions. I see that 168 complaints were received by Icasa. Does anyone know was percentage of these they say they have addressed. And secondly, does anyone know how you lodge a complaint - is it a long burocratic process, or a simple entry on a web site.

Dear Paris,

When you are done making a mockery of South African Telecommunications, the organisation you are supposed to run and the South African consumer, I have a wheelbarrow of fruit that requires pushing.

Thanks.

Its not a bad idea, problem is the media won't cooperate, that and the gov seem to be immune to public pressure.
