won't change anything unfortunately. someone just made a huge amount on a futures trade he predicted a sell off......god i wish i was him

On the whole I'd say thats bad news.
Status quo remains. i.e. more shafting. I would have preferred change. Any change.
Chances are good that quite a few hedge funds & mutual funds took a pretty hard hit with this.
