JPG smaller with standard XP

Hi,

I need to make three photos smaller in order to upload to MyADSL. But, I'm at work where everything is blocked and nothing can be used - other than windows :/ I notice paint does reduce it when I simply open/save - but not enough.

Any ideas?
 
The best application is Image Resizer Powertoy. It's 520Kb. It adds a "Resize" option when you right click the photo/photos. Very easy!

Yea but I can't download ANYTHING :/ They've blocked most sites and I can literally get on a handful of sites ;) That said, maybe MS is one ...

I'll check

how about imageshack?

Upload images to ImageShack by emailing images as attachments. QuickSend is compatible with cameraphones!

Compose an email to [email protected]
Attach one image to your email and send the email. All other attachments will be ignored.

To upload the image into your account, copy and paste your registration code into the subject line of your email.

Wait a few seconds, then download your mail. You should immediately receive a reply with linking code for your image.

Flickr has a similar service but you need to set it up first.
 
go to paint. like you always did.
then go to image/stretch skew

change the horizontal and vertical numbers (they are in percent)

so to make the image quarter the size, select 50
for both horizontal and vertical

Exactly what I would have suggested :) Just waited to hear whether he wanted to resize or compress the image :D
 
Nevermind, BiteMe beat me. :)

Try re-sizing using Paint.

Open the file you want to re-size in Paint. Click on Image and in the drop down menu click Stretch/Scew ( or alternatively just press Ctrl+W ).

Anything less than 100% will shrink the pic.
 
Right click the jpgs and scroll down to send to email recipient.
It'll ask you if you want to make them smaller or keep the original sizes.
Just send to urself or woteva, and save them to file somewhere.
