Driving into work this morning, I heard an iBurst ad offering impartial advice. The ad went along the lines of "call us for the most cost effective broadband solution... honest advice, even if that means recommending a competitor"
So... I put them to the test.
Told the agent I was looking for an account with 3 to 4 gigabytes of data every month.
IBurst Classic (3.5 GB p/m)
No modem & month to month: R 599
Desktop modem & 24 month contract: R 699
Laptop/USB modem & 24 month contact: R 679
Cybersmart ADSL 512/256kbs circuit plus 3 GIG CAP R429 (all inclusive --> ADSL line portion & usage allowance)
Includes free router
Even adding in the Telkom line rental (R110), it's still cheaper @ R 540.
She said iBurst was definitely the way to go.
Impartial? Whatever!
Calling the ASA unless I get a response from iBurst swiftly. And, yes, I have all the details - call time, operator, etc.
