How many times have we heard the same story over and over and over and over again.
The least they could've done was announce another somewhere in the next decade launch date or told us how their customer service will make up for the price since they wont compete on it (a price would be nice too).

I wouldn't hold my breath for them to start anytime soon. Just saw a crew digging up the road next to a sign reading "Neotel at work here" near the Centurion Town Council's offices today. The funny thing is that all the workers were lying under the shade of nearby trees sleeping, and it wasn't even lunchtime.

What I wouldn't give to have had a camera with me...would have made a GREAT photo for this forum! :D
 
Why are we hearing the same things over and over again - this angle was covered last week already. Same info (or lack of it) different journo.

Just a tip for Ben Kelly of Finweek - this is likely why you didn't get any awards. :rolleyes: We need fresh news - not recycled.

Yeah, but that's the wrong approach. I think they should come out with better offerings than that if they want to reel in the Telkom ADSL customers.

But let us wait and see. Maybe it will have a large cap.

Now two years later it's starting to bore me as there is no hard proof.

Suppose we can wait for a little while longer, but I'll be fooked if they say we'll have to wait till 2009... then I'll strip my moer...

Compared to Telkodemonopolies' relatively new names for its Home & Business ADSL:
Fast DSL - now only R***.00 p/m
(based on 384kbps technology)

Faster DSL - now only R***.00 p/m
(based on 512kbps technology)

Fastest DSL - now only R***.00 p/m

Telkodemonopolies' incorrect pricing masked to protect the innocent...

ic where NeeTel is going here - NeeTel is copying Telkodemonopolies' marketing terminology, where fast & faster is supposedly something in the range of 300kbits/s to 700kbits/s.

IMO anything slower than 1024kbits/s definitely does not deserve to have a "fast" label attached to it, if anything it deserves to have a "slow" label attached...

How does NeeTel expect to entice consumers with a 300kbits/s..700kbits/s service when Vodacom & MTN already provide 1.8Mbits/s services and will soon provide 3.6Mbits/s services?
