Upgading 32bit Vista to 64bit Vista

Will this be simple? A quick install, will all my data still be in place?
 
You can't upgrade 32bit vista to 64 bit vista as far as I know you need to do a clean install.

Back up the date on dvd , extra hard drive or create an extra partition to save your important files to.
