best free Firwall and Antivirus... ?

just from off the hem.

whats a really good free firewall and free antivirus software that actually does work.

otherwise best pay ones ?
 
Im using Comodo for firewall...I must say...Im pretty impressed
 
I use Avast! and AVG Free for AV.
Using Online Armor for a firewall. It's still a bit buggy but the dev team at tallemu are sorting things out rather quickly. I have the latest beta which works really well so the next release will definitely be worth it. It only supports XP currently but they are working on a Vista release.
 
dont get a better free firewall then comodo, although version 3 might be a bit advanced for most people..
 
Comodo for your firewall and you can try avast for your AV
 
maybe a poll some where later on about virus and firewall :)

so comodo + clamwin then.
