Violent game 'Manhunt 2' wins appeal

You gotta be quite a sicko to want to play such rubbish

It's a bit sad though... How can you get enjoyment from complete violence???
The game isn't fun and you end up hating the player and yourself for what you've just done...

You are suppose to be able to seperate yourself from the immersiveness of this game. Distingiush between reality and fantasy. Those people who are not able to do so, will suffer to consequences of their inability, regardless whether they play this particular violent game or not.

Well said, it's just a game...

I know its just a game, but most kids(that's the people playing the games, blame the parents) are not emotionally strong enough to distinguish between reality and fantasy. The other problem is that everything you ever see in your life stays in your subconscious mind and it never leaves the mind. Even as an adult, you should not really allow yourself to be exposed to violence of that kind. It cannot be good for you. What you put in is what you get out. Its like eating junk food and expecting to be fit and healthy....it just doesn't work that way.

kids are not suppose to play these kind of games thats the point of the age restriction. How come evry time some thing bad happens it TV fault or games fault? what happend to just plain crazy?

I've been exposed to it and are still fairly docile and normal ... I think.

True, some kids are not that strong regarding their control over emotions, but that's why I said that, with these people, anything can stimulate them into aggressive behaviour ... not necessarily just violent computer games.

Normal frustration have driven people into aggresive behaviour for thousands of years. Why do violent computer now suddenly get ALL of the blame.

Hmmm... thing is... When you playing the game... You can't really enjoy it if your missions are to slaughter people... but if the game is fun a stimulating, I guess it's fun :P

Lol... But by saying that I've created a double standard as games like Half life 2 and fear to say the least, merely require you to kill other people as well... so I guess. all you can do is buy the games you enjoy, and don't kill people in real life.
