GPS points of interest (POI), Garmin and Tomtom

Hi guys

I was looking at various posts on this forum and wanted to know if there are any poi's available for either Garmin or Tomtom. I know about these:
- Speedcam poi
- Tollroad poi
- Mobile hazard poi
- Other hazard poi

Are there any others available? Stuff like Mcdonalds, Steers, and so on and so forth. Lets use this thread to post some nice poi's for South Africa. I have the above mentioned poi's and also a huge list for overseas poi's, but no other SA ones. If you need any of what I have gimme a shout (pm). :cool:

Hi, I'm new to this site.

Recently aquired a nuvi 200 and would like to add POI to it. Can someone point me in the right direction on where to go please...:D

configure sound with the speed cameras for garmin

Hi there,

I loaded the speed cameras and various other hazards for the garmin on my nokia N95. Is there anyway that I can allocate certain sounds to the various hazards. The beeping tone is kinda nerve racking.

There is no way currently to change the beeping alert sound.

Not even by using mp3 or wave format.

I have tried by naming the files all the same with only the file suffixes to indicate file type as indicated in the manual.

That will only work on the actual Garmin device, not on mobile phones loaded with Garmin XT software.
 
I just download them from tom tom HOME when device is connected to Laptop. Got all the fast food joints... they even have the teazers locations! hehe
