Phone got wet and now its bricked. Any advise as to what can be done to save it? Thanks.

let it dry, take the battery out, do not try to switch it on or use it, leave it for at least 48hrs to dry... if you done that already and it's still not working properly, toss it in the dustbin... claim from insurance

Yes, 6110 and salt water not a good combo.. Happened this morning.

Ouch and worst is that salt water is conductive. Take out battery immediately and leave in sun to dry. Best is if you can open it up to let it dry as in take the whole thing apart.

Another trick I've heard of is taking out the battery and letting it soak in alcohol, which has to be very pure and let it dry for a long while then.

What ever you try, it's still best to take the whole thing apart. Alcohol doesn't damage electronics and evaporates fast so it should work. There could be some irreversible damage due to shorting.

lol. I think like 10 minutes or so should do the trick.

If you're not going to be open it up I would leave it to dry for quite a while just to makes sure.

Well there is a solution which worked for me,I took the phone apart and the lcd, placed all the pcb boards in metholated spirits for 4 days and dried the phone out for another 2,then put phone together and its fixed
