Whats going on with MTN of late

There seem to be a lot of connection problems that I have been experiencing when trying to call MTN subscribers from various locations and other operators.

The people I know in CT with MTN are also complaining. As somebody said MTN hasn't even explained whats going on or apologised. It all started with some downtime posted here 2 weeks ago.

Even GPRS seems to be going up and down and MTN people I know can't log into Mxit. Is this to help market Noknok?

Data is also haywire. Slow speeds and plenty of PPP connect problems.
I put it down to all the kiddies on holiday flooding the cells.
