Hi guys and gals.

I am looking for Nero version 8. My friend has Windows Vista and he needs Nero 8 as well as thats the only version that is compatible with Vista. Where can I go to get it without paying a fortune for it

Just tell your friend to stuff Vista and upgrade to XP :)

Just use a credit card and buy a license from nero's official site. Else there other alternative methods but if you want a legal copy of nero 8 buy from the official site.
 
what about buying a dvd writer and getting it free with the dvd writer (bundled) ?

I have 2 copies lying here that I got with my 2 sata dvd writers i bought.
 
the latest version of nero 7 does work on Vista, it comes free with most new dvd writers.
 
Is it only my nero 8 or is there no option to burn images? Have to mount on daemon tools and then copy disc if i want to burn an image.
