Just wondering, if it's currently possible or feasible to use Fibre Optic cabling to get images instead of using Security Cameras?

Not too sure what you mean, but I guess that you are thinking of using FC to capture an image?
First point is that the fibre shouldn't be absorbing light other than at each end. If it did it would be useless for transmission!
If you mean from the ends, then you would need some sort of lens system atone end and some sort of sensor system at the other.
Another problem is that AFAIK the cable is optimised for specific bandwidth.

Not sure what you mean ic. One will always need a sensor to capture light and convert it to 1's and 0's. Do you mean using fibre as a flexible lense? This is done in medical and military applications (if I understand it correctly) ... but for very small area image capturing. Using fibre for video transmission is old hat so I'm sure this is not what you have in mind.

Basically what I want to do, is to put in a bunch of fibre around my house to capture light from outside the house, and channel that light to a central point [via the strands of fibre optic cabling] where each stream gets converted to video that can be recorded and then streamed over the net.
I do understand that I would probably need a lense to concentrate the light at the area which I intend to surveil, into each fibre optic strand, and that the viewable area might be limited, but I figure this might be easier than trying to power and run a whole bunch of video cameras.
So, apart from lenses, what would I need at the digitizing end?
