Looking at a new case/chassis for my upcoming rig but umm where to start.

What do they mean when they specify external bays? e.g. 3x 5.25" external - I don't understand that, or 6x hidden bays - wtf are they hiding :P

What kind of psu would i need to power a quad core 6600 along with 2x hdd's , dvd writer, unsure of what graphics card. A grand to spend on the two seems a tad much to me... remember buying case/psu for like 500.

Any ideas or linkies for cool cases, I quite like the gigabyte triton:

Recently bought a Gigabyte 3DMars. They make well-designed and laid out cases. Very happy so far and there are no problems with cooling either

I'm considering buying one soon (I've got another upgrade of about R5,000 planned, just need to figure out what I need to buy) then I can chuck this one in the bin :D

Yeah, I know. After all its only a shell but unfortunately that bug has bitten me. My next case will be the Kandalf LCS. Ditto

Like an old shell with Supercharger under the bonnet. Its not what you see its what it can do!

I started to like the see, (with the do on inside), looking at modded cases! :D

At the price +vat (Wholesale) with included 400W supply its not bad. But would like to have links to specs and information as with Thermaltake. Prolly some China supplier. Who cares they are nice!

They are nice :) I'd probably buy a Coolermaster Stacker 690 or similar, though...
