    Hey docb,

    Ive got a v20 5800. Have you upgraded to v21 yet? I'm keen to try it out. Can you back up the original firmware before upgrading? Please send me the product code and/or any other useful info/links.

    Howzit, also got the 5800, still stuck on V10... You said you got a product code from some Vodacom techie could you please send it to me? Thanks! I've tried with about 10 different codes no luck on updating.

    Hey there..
    I got my Nokia 5800 on a Vodacom contract. It came preloaded with v20, but alas with the Vodafone startup branding. When I try *#0000# it tells me I have the custom firmware (Vodacom's) ad I am unable to update OTA as v20 is the latest version.

    Rather than waiting for Vodacom to release v21 with branding, do you know how to reset the firmware like you mentioned the Vodacare call centre guy instructed you?
    What do I need to do to reset it and you also said you knew Vodacom's custom firmware code as well (if I ever need to give it in for repairs)
