Economists are predicting an 80c rise next month.

Just thought I would add another "Well bloody done" to our ANC [-]criminals[/-] leaders.

Sure the oil price is outside their control, but
  • Safe reliable public transport is not
  • Efficient train systems for food deliveries etc are not
  • Fuel levies are not
  • Plummeting rand due to constant mismanagement (Eskom etc) are not (well - I doubt they have the brain power to prevent mismanagement)

I think I'll be buying myself a bicycle soon to go to work since I live about 7KM from work. :p

Our guavament are just a load of monkeys

I pay R500 a week on petrol since the new rise already

My tank's half since I filled up, with the last price increase.

With very good effeciency of our natural resources, we would not even have to pay taxes.
The government is trying to destroy us. Pure and simple.

EDIT:
I filled up a few minutes ago.
My tank is full cost me R371. Not too bad i guess. Usually i pay R300.

Oil @over $100/barrel, hah!

It seems just do unfair that people are paid trillions for doing nearly nothing, , i mean look at Qutar, it has an average IQ of 78, and it is one of the worlds highest earning($ 75,900) countries. while super-hard working, smart(IQ: 100), China($ 5,300), earns less than a tenth what they do. this is unfair and sick!

Is it fair that people should be paid for simply because they were born near earth resources.

Yeah it is more expensive in the UK but the difference is that they have a reasonably good public transport system. SA does not have a public transport system. It is dysfunctional, not maintained properly and it is way behind the times compared to real (1st world) countries.

Europe is in the price range... but the bottom line is you DONT NEED to use petrol as the public infrastructure works.

keep in mind... (a German Euro rate)

* €1,800 to €2,500 per month for new starters
* €2,600 to €4,000 for experienced employees (2-5 years experience)

What N00bie gets R14400 per month in SA ? .. petrol is expensive, but scale of economy is different. Converting Rand->Any other currency just will give you a false sense that the things are cheap in ZA

Good grief I am already struggling enough as it is with my 1.3l Ford Bantam, and now another increase. Problem is that it WILL NOT STOP AT R10

And I am about to buy a 1.6l Bantam...

/me takes flower and starts picking, should I or shouldn't I, should I or shouldn't I, should I or shouldn't I...

What do you need for Bantam for? If you can try to get a 1.3l uses quite a bit less than the 1.6
