R100 charge for ADSL line test !!

ubelievable!!! i just phoned to get my ADSL line sorted out...DSL lnk led flashing on my ADSL ROUTER POTS....they told me there is a R100 charge if they find that the line tests OK!!! <font color="red">UNBELIEVABLE!!</font id="red">! guys we definetely have to do something. [email protected]

I got the same response this morning... And I know the line was down. There is nothing that stops them from charging just for inconvenience of having to hear us complain.
 
This is a general problem at Telkom. Our PABX was out of order recently - supplied and maintained by Telkom. Telkom demanded that we tell them what the problem was before they would send somebody out. We refused and Telkom threatened us that we would be liable for expenses if they sent out the wrong person.
