    Recently did a full fresh install of F17.

    Changed theme a bit. I likey.

    Compatibility mostly; LMDE is a hell of a different distro compared to normal Linux Mint. Once I have the complete hang of it or if an update breaks it then I'll look at 64bit edition

    You can have a 64bit install running 32bit wine. When you install wine, just export WINEARCH=32, then run winecfg. You will now run 32bit wine of 64bit linux. I had to do this to get Office 2010 to work properly.

    Agreed. That is one thing that annoys me about wine.


    No matter how many wine flags I try to set, 32 bit apps just won't install. I have however found light at the end of the tunnel by using PlayOnLinux, works pretty well. Office 2010 running smooth on my 64 bit machine now.
