Slow Speed from 7AM-7PM

Hi All

Just a quick one --- does anyone else experience a total slow down during the day? I mean slower than my old 56k modem? If browsing local sites, the speed is about the same as the old 56k modem, but international I can forget - just to connect to a text only site and let the page load (not a large page) takes from 1-3 minutes!

Is this just a setting or a general issue during the day?

Surfing during the day is definitely slower than at night. But I can't say that I have the same problem as you. For the work I do, I need fast browsing speed and to me, most of the time it's acceptable.

I can echo VQuest’s comments. Currently daytime browsing is substantially slower than at night, but not to the extent that you describe. I have had some problems this week…one of my speed tests measured as slow as 7 kbits/sec, which is much slower than a modem. I think these slow speeds were due to problems with the service at the time.
