People with Neotel: What speeds are you getting?

I have the fastest uncapped option available that retails for about R1000 a month. The download speeds I get varies between 100 en 200Kbps, with 150KBps the average. As this is on uncapped option, I can download quite a bit of data with these speeds. The only problem I have, is a constant dropping of the line, after 3 hours or so. I phoned Neotel and they will come back to me, after "testing my system". I will post their reply here, once I get it.

Lets say an avereage monthly income in SA is R4000. Do you think its a good deal to pay 1/4 of your income for internet. Internet should not be a luxury. For crying out loud people wake up.

It's a good deal if you can afford to spend R1000 every month on Internet, but it's still one big monthly fee for the average Joe.

Well that does work out to 400GB+ a month...I guess even that is not bad for R999.
Now for some cheaper offerings, Neotel. And they need to be fast and have decent caps, too. And coverage in CT
