Best HTPC option/setup for DSTV....TIVO, MYTHBUNTU HTPC, MCE HTPC???

Hi all,

I've been running with this for some years now. Still trying to find the best solution. I've been using a PC to my plasma for playing all my divx content, simply because its easy to support ANY media file format. I know have DSTV and I had a PVR, but it sucked.

Tivo looks like an option, especially for the fact that u can now upload divx to the TIVO.

I'm really curious whether its viable option to put a pvr card into my PC and achieve DSTV recording.

Has anyone done anything like this before?
 
I only use my HTPC for DVD's, divx and other recordings, don't record anything from TV not really neccessary if you have a PVR. BTW I use MCE HTPC XP not Vista due to driver's being unstable under Vista.
