Official PS3 Discussion/News Thread - No bashing!!

...A friend of mine recently got the game, we invite each other to play but it constantly gives an error saying we either have a connection problem or the game session no longer exits.

Ive searched other forums, and the the posts say RDR was updated almost a year ago.

Any help would be much appreciated.

The multiplayer issue on RDR has never been fixed. I played with my brother on Xbox Live and we had the same issue. Sometimes we could connect, but we gave up.

I saw on ign.com that the price of the ps3 was reduced by $50. anybody know when this will effect us and by how much. i need a ps3 asap

Hi All

I was in the MWEB uncapped section and they said I should post any queries in the "Gaming forum" as I have been having problems for the past month with online gaming on the PS3 and MWEB uncapped so apologies if this is the incorrect place to post..

My problem is as follows all related to MWEB Uncapped 4MB Shaped:
Since the 15th August 2011 I have been gettting disconnection issues with online gaming with the following games: Killzone 3, Crash Commandoes, Burnout Paradise, Uncharted 3: Beta, Dead Nation, PS Home
The PSN store connects perfectly and I can also sign-in it is only Online gaming that is affected
These disconnections have all been happening after hours (off-peak)
Other ISP accounts work perfectly and I am able to play online
this Past weekend after the JHB upgrade things appear to functioning as normal (but for how long)
Has anyone else been experiencing these problems?

I feel that MWEB are shaping the gaming ports hindering online play the PS3 ports are as follows
