SAOL 10GB R399 p/m ?

The only thing to watch for with saol.com is often they have a setup up fee, not sure if it applies to these account. I would think not though, as this is a promotion.

Well, for R399 , it does not matter if there are 500 signups, as long as I am in there :)

DON'T SIGN CONTRACTS!!

They are trying to rope in as many people as they can before the prices of fraudband drops

Hi Guys

Yes, we are trying to "rope in as many clients as we can", We are a service provider and signing up clients is our main core business...:)

However, if there is a price drop, all our customers will benefit, contract or not, we pride ourselves in customer satisfaction, and anyways, which company survives unhappy customers?

Look back over the last 2 years, what has the price of bandwidth really been ? R399 10 Gigs is a bargin, R39 per gig, come on guys, you sign contracts for your cellphone contract without blinking an eye, whats wrong with an internet contract for the cheapest price ever. Even if there is a major price drop, do you think you will get this cheaper then R39 a gig. If you do , if it happens, we will match the advertised price. Apples for Apples and all that.

if you want to signup, you can at www.saol.com

Thank you
Neethi

I still don't trust it... something smells fishy..

If it's too good to be true it usually is

I currently have the 10Gig account for R499, and have been a client since August 2005. So what do I need to do to qualify for the same account at R399?

I've also got the 10Gig R499pm contract. I usually end up buying more bandwidth before the month is out, so what I want to know is if I sign up for the new offer, will I get the extra bandwidth at R39 per gig if I topped up?

If SAOL stick to their promise to lower prices when and as they drop and give me extra bandwidth at the promotional price, then I don't mind signing a 24 month contract. I have always been happy with their service and pricing and have been with them a long time.

Also they not so anal about the R200 downgrade fee. I've got it in writing that they are prepared to waive it as long as they happy you not trying to abuse the system.

I established that any extra Gigs purchased are at the standard price: R69
I have just signed up for their "New Year special - 1 Gig free for life" which is available to existing customers. It works out cheaper than the 10Gig/R399pm special mentioned above.

They take over your existing Telkom ADSL line (which is fine by me... no more having to phone Telkom for ADSL faults and problems) and give you an extra Gig for free every month for a total cost of R599.00

The way I figure it I'm saving R121pm.
My existing 384 DSL line costs R152
My existing 10Gig account with SAOl costs R499pm
A 1 Gig top-up would cost R69 to bring it up to the 11 gigs I will now be getting.
Total:R720pm

If you take up their 10Gig/R399 package and keep your existing 384 DSL line with Telkom, then for 11 Gigs it will cost you R620 and you committed to a 24 month contract.

The new year special comes with no fixed contact unless you have already signed up for one of their contract bundles.
