Question MTN Anytime - Check balance

    Hi guys

Sorry if this has been asked before but I can't find a concrete answer.

I recently got a new MTN Anytime100 contract. All that came in the packaging was my phone and sim card.. no leaflet or anything telling me how to do things. This is extremely annoying as a new MTN customer - I had to search for what to dial to do simple things like setup my voice mail!

Now, I need to know how I can check how much of my allocated 'airtime' is left. MTNActive sucks, I've had my phone for a week and it's only worked for me once yesterday. I get technical errors otherwise. Please help

If you are registered with MTN Active you can do the following:

*162*pin# and follow the prompts on screen.

    Samsung Galaxy Note 3 LTE - 4-Oct-13
    Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 - 21-Jan-13
    Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini - 13-Feb-14
    Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7" - 1-Sept-14

    Cool, thanks

Get "Our systems encountered an unexpected technical problem." on MTNActive site and "We are unable to process..." when I dial *162*pin#.

I'll try again a little later. I can't believe how bad this service is! Maybe I've just been spoiled by vodacom4me

Hi, you can try dialling 258, its a chargeable call though (I think). From here you can check available credit, smss available and data bundle info (if you have one).

    Hope it helps.

You can dial 16202 and follow the prompts. I think 808 also works. These calls are not chargeable AFAIK.
