Awesome game. Awesome awesome awesome!! Valencia's goal was amazing. Young definitely should've started. Fergie stuffed up with the line up. No ways Rooney is going to stay on the left so Evra was playing lb/lw the entire game. You could see he was knackered around the 60th minute mark.

De Gea made some amazing saves, hence me saying he's the best keeper in the Premier League at the moment. Valencia is now tied for most assists in the Premier League, despite missing several games due to injury. He's easily one of the best wngers in the the world.

5 points clear and let's hope by this time next week, it's 8. GGMU :)

At this rate, the Manchester derby is going to be a meaningless drab.
Well I guess we the only derby in town is the NLD then.

Great win and a real knock to City:D

Are they feeling the pressure - United can go 8pts clear and they have Arsenal up next.......

im loving it

5 points clear

and should be 8 if arsene sends men and not kids to do the mans job

valencia has been brilliant all season ...i think that injury did him good and de gea has become something else

and hard for me to say but vidics injury has meant evans filling up that roll nicely...

Arsenal better not pull a Chelsea....fusckers

Tony is a beast - every injury seems to make him even better....

I love how De Gea is proving us all wrong - brilliant saves flip!!!!!

Evans still makes me nervous but he is doing a good job - 16 clean sheets speaks volumes for our defence

Voted Manchester United's player of March, and feckin deserves it too..

He has 12 assists from 20 games.

David Silva has 12 from 30, Adebayor 11 from 27 and Mata 11 from 29.

If we look at goals between Valencia, Mata and David Silva, Valencia has 4 goals from 17 shots, Mata 5 goals from 59 shots and David Silva 5 goals from 73 shots.

Sums up just how good Valencia is. Lets hope next season he's injury free.

When Vidić comes back do you think we will see a Vidić/Evans partnership or will Rio take his place?

anyone still remember Nani? lol

thought about that last night as Young and Tony sealed for us, gonna be tough for him to regain his place in the team at this rate. Won't even mention Anderson, Cleverly, Park, Berbatov...eish

Good win though, was biting my nails before we scored

I'm not too sure that Vidic and Evans together are the best combo. Evans does well with a CB with passing skills, making him the first tackler usually, while the other CB mops up and passes out of defence, which is why he gels well with Rio and Smalling. Vidic is the same, a destroyer, so them together might be too similar.

Rio is rubbish. Why on Earth would you want him back in the team?

Stop trolling, smokes.. Rio is one of the best CB's of the past decade and you know it :)

The thing is, these days football is a squad game because of all the competitions. Since we've been knocked out of all the Cups, we can usually field the same XI week in week out. However, it's always good to have quality subs. We're OK on the wings between Nani, Valencia and Young, but if Scholes or Carrick get injured we may have a real problem.

.

i said that not a long time ago ...nani will fight as he always does

young wont be used to much frm the start cause of experience in the end ..thats where nani will be used when he returns

Rio used to be good. Not so anymore.

22 appearances this season and United have conceded the 2nd least goals. Rio is class, he has his injury problems but I can't remember him having too many problems in the League so far. I can't even remember the last time he got a yellow card, and CB is a position that attracts yellow cards due to last ditch tackles which he hardly has to make since he's so positionally aware.
