President Zuma

It even sounds dof, like President Aquaman or President McDeathmonster.

I feel a little bit sorry for him:

1. He has to fill the shoes of Mandela, the no-can-do-wrong world icon.
2. He has to fill the shoes of Mbeki, an intellectual.

Poor soul!!!

I don't really think the vast majority of the population liked Mbeki. Zuma is a people's president. They all love him as he is on the same level playing field as they are. Not some snooty intellectual as Mbeki was probably seen as.

Absolutely, but to be so poorly educated and to have limited knowledge of how to interact with world leaders, captains of industry and academics must be daunting to say the least!

One does not always have a script in life and a smile and a little jig does not save you from every embarassment :)

Mshiniwam (don't know the spelling)
Shall be the new national anthem, everyone will have to have it in their homes and it shall be performed by Zuma and Malema.

Well time to show some respect.... he is our President, give him a few months at least! :D

Indeed! It should be very interesting to see how it all unfolds. I can see a few jokes doing the rounds already.

Unfortunatly and as much as I hate myself for saying this,I do have to atleast give him a year to either fsck u or do something about SA.

You guys realise that basically since polokwane it's not like zuma has not been interacting with world leaders. he was even at davos was he not?

EDIT: I seem to even remember some international business people coming out with complimentary words about him.

It's not so much Zuma that bothers me. It's the people pulling his strings: the commies, socialists, workerists, unionists and other assorted statist-collectivists. The list starts with Gwede Mantashe, Blade Nzimande ...

I hear that from now onwards you won't get a job unless you speak zulu :D

there'll be ZEE instead of BEE, (Zulu Economic Empowerment) :p

KwaZulu Natal will be now known as KwaZuma Natal ;)
