President Jacob Zuma

I can pronounce '' President Zuma'' I couldnt prononounce '' President whoever was before Zuma''

It took me a while too. I wonder why he stayed on and didn't retire with all the benefits. Maybe he's hopeful?

Zuma persuaded Kgalema to stay on as deputy.

also

He explained his appointment of former president Kgalema Motlanthe as deputy, saying he could not appoint an “ordinary” ANC national executive committee member when the ANC’s deputy president was available.

I am curious though, will there be less public striking during the next 5 years, with Blade, and some other cosatu members now part of cabinet ?

Where does cosatu think money comes from?

You can't put "cosatu" and "think" in the same sentence. Just like "President" and "Jacob Zuma". It just does not sound right.

The more I think about the fact that Zuma is now the new president, the more I can't believe it. Good thing though is people seem to be accepting it and moving on. I can't. He will never be my president!

What a shame that SA has allowed this to happen. Only in the banana republic can somebody with so many charges of corruption be made president! Its bl00dy ridiculous.

That is the kind of leader the masses want. I would love to know why.

Its a bl00dy joke man. "President" Sounds so funny. SA has become a circus!

Good humour , ((giggles)), bring in the clowns...welcome to the banana republic where democracy failed, freedom of thaught failed... hence the need for geniocracy ((^_^)) that is people who are well equiped to run a countery, if the person be young... Intelligence isnt only measured by knowing your books from uni, but also the ability to Love, with thaughts of nonviolence, and freewill. where votes get taken on by performance not "vote me or i will take my mashni wamie out". The song was a bad move from the start.. if he made a song about Love and Creation, people would have had more respect... then again he would have had a personality of love instead of hate fabricated with sweet icing, like a cake.
Obviously the song Mashini wami is ironically related to the topic of his time in court.. which is ironic...
Well Zuma can improve if he realy wants to, abandon his old ways and start a new , now is his chance to improve if he realy wants to. well see time will tell, agression bite backs and taking imediate actions against the oposing parties shuch as DA isnt a good start.. take in there advice, work with each other, for the better of south africans, no not only south africans.... humanity like Nelson Mandela did.. he is an icon of Humanity.
many battles are won within not without.
"No Struggle has ever been one from the outside, It is one from within"-: Acyual words of nelson mandela

"Never and ever again shall it be that this beautifull land will again experience the oppression of one by another" :- Nelson Mandela

remember the words of the one that braught colour to your nation, not the one that removes the colour from the nation.
Love and hugs

Lotsa Love and hugs

I'm curious, what happened to my fellow myBB citizens who said that they will definitely leave this country if Zuma becomes president? Did they leave or are they still here in this beautiful? If they are still here and are not planning to leave anymore, does that mean it's possible that Zuma can earn their respect? Does it mean it's possible that current anti-Zuma people will warm up to Zuma within his (Zuma's) 5 year term?

Well i don't think zuma is any more a joke than mbeki. In fact mbeki was a joke and the worst president this country has ever had.

Zuma will have turn us into zim to beat him. I have this funny feeling zuma could turn out to be the best president we have had but my head tells me my feelings are a bunch of crap.

I am an eternal optimist and really hope the above to be true. But I have a feeling Gwede might be pulling the strings behind the curtain.
