Thread: Setting up VPN over ADSL between 5 Sites

  1. #1

Question Setting up VPN over ADSL between 5 Sites

I am very new to ADSL, therefore need a lot of help, preferable somebody that want to quote to do this.
I have a friend that have 5 Supermarkets in Pretoria and want to connect them via a 'permanent on' connection. I had a look at a Satellite connection and ADSL. I understand that it is possible to create a VPN over ADSL between these five stores, got a quote from MWeb Business. Is their a cheaper methods and who wants to do it? Proposals please?

Contact Advocate Solutions in your area. They do exactly this for their own branches using ipcop firewalls.

The LinkSys ADSL Gateway comes with a built in firewall and allows you to setup a DMZ as well as a VPN. It alos has instructions on how to setup a VPN as well.
